I was born in the small town of Evergreen, CO.  I first moved away from my quiet mountain land when I left for Baltimore to attend the Maryland Institute College of Art.  After completing my bachelor's, I continued my studies at the Fashion Institute of Technology in the Toy Design program. 

Since 2010, I have been working and freelancing in the Kids toy and Pet industries for several different companies, including Mattel, Outward Hound, Hasbro, Wild Planet, Cardinal Industries, Green Toys, and Kid Designs.  I have worked across multiple toy categories and I have experience designing for a wide variety of licenses including Disney, Marvel, Lucasfilm, My Little Pony, and Dreamworks.
